State College, PA – CPAMMA’s Muay Thai Team fought in the Tournament of Champions October 15th & 16th and went 7-1.

Kellie Marin drew the champion in the first round and fought her to a very close decision.

Tyler “Deep” Fry fought once on Friday and twice on Saturday and Joe “Singto” Clark fought twice Saturday. Both Joe and Tyler cleaned out their divisions and became the champions at their weight class.

This is Joe’s fourth championship belt and today was at B-class and Tyler’s fourth belt and first championship at A-class.

“Piece” Elise Pone fought twice today at A-class, in two different weight classes on Saturday. Her first opponent of the day missed weight on Thursday and Elise graciously stepped up to give her a non-tournament bout which she won unanimously. She won her second A-Class title today in her second bout! Elise is now a 5x Muay Thai Champion.
