State College, PA – CPAMMA’s and Penn State Graduate Assistant Kellie Marin fought on GFC’s Fight Card at The Ramada Hotel & Conference Center in State College on Halloween and won the inaugural GFC Women’s Title.  What is more is that Marin had a quick turnaround fighting the next Saturday, November 6th in Gut Check Fighting Championships and won making it the fastest turnaround between events for any fighter ever in State College history.

She studies national security rhetoric with a theoretical focus on the role of affect and aesthetics in opening or foreclosing the potential for citizen participation within the national security state. Kellie has published in Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies and Rhetoric Society Quarterly. She has taught and assisted in a variety of undergraduate courses in public speaking, persuasion and propaganda, and critical media studies.”
