Youth Mixed Martial Arts uses structured training to build confidence, discipline, focus, respect, perseverance, and physical fitness. Students learn Grappling, Striking, and Mixed Martial Arts in a safe, age-appropriate environment.
Progress is recognized through the belt-ranking system, while classes provide a constructive outlet for energy and a practical setting for goal-setting and teamwork.
Program Benefits
Youth Mixed Martial Arts includes more than just Martial Arts. We include a Merit Badge system and provide a well rounded Character Development Program.
Merit Badges
Our Merit Badge Program allows for each Youth Martial Artist to develop the life skills they will need to succeed, not only in the classroom, but in the world around them. Through quick daily discussions about topics such as; respect, manners, determination, and focus, students are able to listen to their peers and their instructors share stories that reinforce what being a loving, caring, and productive member of society really means. Each badge is discussed in class, then accompanied by a task sheet that the parent can help the child fill out and sign-off on. The child then presents their accomplishments in front of the class and is awarded a Merit Badge which can be ironed onto their uniform.
Character Development
Through partner drills and padwork, the Merit Badge Program, and individual and team games, your child will learn the importance of working well with others and helping one another to succeed. In each class your child will learn to help guide the younger students, while also being challenged and motivated by the older students.
Physical Fitness
While our Youth Mixed Martial Arts program has a significant focus on character development and life skills, we also pride ourselves on stellar martial arts instruction and physical fitness. Each class includes cardio-conditioning, mat movements and other core-strengthening exercises, technical review sessions, and partner drilling and padwork. CPAMMA offers a true all-inclusive Youth Mixed Martial Arts experience.
What to Expect
We will send the current schedule and pricing details before the free trial so you can confirm that the program fits your family. Your child can attend a suitable class, meet the instructors, and experience the program before you decide whether to enroll.
