For ages 3-6, this program is a prelude to Youth Martial Arts is meant to assist students in learning all the attributes needed for sports, martial arts and recreation. Students will learn and gain balance, coordination, agility, strength, endurance, flexibility, speed, fitness, respect for self and others, concentration, self-esteem, self-control, self-confidence, positive outlook, sense of well being, goal setting and achievement all in one fun interactive class! Parents are encouraged to come and participate in the class. Violence is completely eliminated from the program as we do not teach the children to use their bodies as weapons. Instead, every technique is learned to be used as a tool. |
For ages 6+ this class is meant to fulfill the active needs that youth have throughout their school years. We strive to have a Martial Arts class full of fun, friends and fitness! The classes are filled with physically challenging and mentally stimulating material that is catered to all ages of the youth program. In Youth Martial Arts we use our Martial Arts as a means of enriching our lives and helping our bodies and minds grow. Because of this we do not use our Martial Arts to hurt other people. In Youth Martial Arts, we view all techniques that the youth learn as tools, not weapons. The students are rewarded for their efforts via the belt ranking system where the children can achieve the rank of black belt. |
Learn Martial Arts, get in shape, all while you are spending quality time with your family. Several packages are available depending on the size of your family. This class follows the same format as Youth Martial Arts & Mighty Mites depending on the age of the children. These classes give the students one on one interaction with Sifu Ryan Gruhn and the ability to learn along side their siblings and parental figures. The classes are catered to all ages which assures older siblings and parents the physically challenging and mentally stimulation material they strive for! “There is no better way to spend time with the family while getting a great work out!” ~ Miller Family |
