Congrats Ajarn Bryan Popejoy! It been an honor to have Central PA Mixed Martial Arts students, fighters and instructors work with you!

Bryan Popejoy
I’m very excited to announce today that Bryan Popejoy will be the Head Muay Thai Instructor for the UFC Gym Torrance. Bryan has been training in Muay Thai since 1991 and has trained, fought, and coached in Thailand. Bryan is a retired professional Muay Thai fighter and was the Middleweight Champion for UWMTA in 1999, Super Middleweight Champion for UWMTA in 2000 and Middleweight Champion in The Thai Boxing Association of Mexico in 2000 and IFMA Gold Medalist, World Cup 2000/Price’s Cup World Championships, in Bangkok, Thailand.Bryan is also the youngest Senior Instructor in the history of the Thai Boxing Association of the USA. He has worked as a corner-man in Lumpini Stadium, the most prestigious Muay Thai arena in the world. He is also a certified coach/trainer for Fairtex Muay Thai Camp, Chandler, AZ. Bryan has coached and assisted in the training of Randy Couture, Dan Henderson, Frank Trigg, Vladdy Matushenko, Ricco Chiaparelli, Lyoto Machida, Alessio Sakara, Andy Wang, Mark Beecher, Mark Kerr, Mac Danzig and Joe Schilling. He is also a featured trainer at the TBA-USA Pacific Northwest Training Camp and also a featured Coach on the “In Search of America’s Muay Thai Team” Reality TV Program.
